Maj. General (rt) Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury is a pioneer dental implantologist and a renowned maxillofacial surgeon in Bangladesh.

He was former Consultant Dental Surgeon General of Directorate General of Medical Service of Bangladesh Army.Maj. General (rt) Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury graduated (BDS) from Dhaka Dental College in 1982 and commissioned as Army Dental Corps officer in Bangladesh Army on 1984. He got his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry, Pakistan in 1993-94. He took training in Implant Surgery from Singapore in 1999. He also pursued training in TMJ Arthroscopy from Germany in 2014. He took an Advanced Implant Training Course from Malaysia in 2016. He completed FCPS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2007. Over the years, he has served in various CMHs as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.Maj. General Mohiuddin is also working as the President of the Dental Implant Association of Bangladesh and Vice President of the Bangladesh Oral Cancer Society.
